So I haven’t been able to take a class from this guy right here, but all I know is that he has MAD SWAGG!!! choreographer—
Lee Daniel
First and foremost, this is my favourite song right now. Secondly, WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO ME BRIAN?! You know I have been disconnected from dance for quite some time now and it already saddens the hell out of me. But when I saw this video today, I could feel my face fill with warmth and excitement. I felt a rush of life come in me and I just wanted to get up and dance. Was this the little push I needed? It’s too early to tell, but I know one thing is for sure; I have never felt this way about dance….ever. So Brian, I accept your dance challenge, let’s do it!! choreographer—
Brian Friedman
This video concept is unreal. It has story, depth, and the choreography/ladies are on point. Kudos to Mr Bankhead for a job well done—choreographer:
Sean Bankhead
Ian and his crew “KubSkoutz” doing what they do best. Be on the look out for Johnny cause you’ll be seeing & hearing about this fellah as time passes; he’s once sick individual—choreographer:
Johnny Erasme
So I haven’t done my research as to who these two choreographers are but all I can say is that this dance is insane. The speed and precision that the moves are executed at is just un real, big ups to these two for making the dance look flawless, and the attitude is on point—choreographer:
Camillo Lauricella & Mecnun Giasar
Now I wanted to save this post for a little while but thought might as well just do it early. Meet my friend Nick. I’ve known Nick for quite a few years now. As not only a dancer but friend as well, I’ve seen Nick come so far and grow. I’ve gotten to know him on a personal level and all I can say is that he is one sick individual with a big heart. His biggest accomplishment is booking and going on tour with Justin Bieber; he can be seen in JB’s movie. I’m not going to go into detail of how proud I am of his accomplishments because he already knows. What I am going to say is that I am lucky to have a friend like you to hold me down when times get rough even though I rarely get to see you because you live in the states. Just remember that your brother back in T.O misses you and keep on doing what your doing. Sidenote: this is one of my favourite pieces Nick did and if you look closely, you can see a certain someone in the class group (aka me)— choreographer:
Nick Demoura
CHECK THE GUY IN THE LIME GREEN WITH HIS HIGH ASS JAZZ KICK! Ok, moving on. This fellow is one of the many reasons why I started to dance and do what I do. I can always look to him for inspiration and every time I see a new piece, I get that drive/motivation to create something new right then and there—choreographer:
Tony Czar
I actually thought long and hard on how I would showcase this man but I wouldn’t even know where to start. This man has been killing in not only in Toronto, but all over. He’s danced for too many artists, been in too many movies, and is LIVING his life right now as a choreographer. If you live in the Toronto area and have a free Friday, please check out his classes. He will challenge your mind, body & spirit and take you on a hype-ass dance journey you have never been on before. He definitely likes to kick it back with the old school jams ranging from Aaliyah to TLC. This is one of my favourite pieces by him thus far—choreographer:
Leon Blackwood
So this footage is a little bit old but it’s still amazing. You can feel the power and emotion that is being delivered in this piece. All the dancers did a really good job but I have to highlight BoyBoi because he ATE it hard— choreographer:
Luam
